Over the past 16+ years they have helped hundreds of Mudgee families get their dream homes. Awards Of Recognition
The team at Lynch are primarily focussed on delivering exceptional homes for clients. However it is nice to when industry professionals recognise their work. Here are some of the awards they have earned:
THE MBA EXCELLENCE IN HOUSING AWARDS
YOUNG BUILDER OF THE YEAR 2012
The 2012 Young Builder of the Year is a country-based builder who is extremely active in the coal-rich town of Mudgee. With a shortage of rental accommodation and new homes due to the mining boom, he is producing many quality and attractive homes at very competitive prices. His winning entry this year is a twist on the typical family home, with traditional raked eaves lined with timber lining boards and flow onto the ceiling of the porch and alfresco area. Dark bricks, cedar features in the panelift door and entrance door add contrast to the timberwork. Innovative louvre and corner windows add interest to the open plan living.
The winner is Anthony Lynch of the Lynch Building Group.
– Judge's Comments
MBA BEST USE OF BRICK 2012
“The judges were most impressed with what they called the 'faultless' brickwork of this entry in the country town of Mudgee. The builder used an Austral black brick which, when combined with off-white cement mortar, produced an extremely smart appearance. The judges were also impressed with the brickwork in the window sills which they said accentuated the quality of the overall brickwork”.
MBA CONTRACT HOUSES UNDER $500,000
“This is the first time this young country builder has entered the awards. His brick veneer entry at Mudgee incorporates all the modern fittings expected in a new home. The home includes four bedrooms, a two car garage, a pool and all landscaping. The external dark faced brickwork made the finished home an absolute stand out. Excellent.”
