Discovery Call
This informal introduction answers your questions and provides advice to help you get off to the right start in building your home. Using our proven Deep Dive Survey, our designer (Jess) will help you clarify your vision. She will show you examples of what you can expect for your budget. And provide suggestions on how to avoid expensive mistakes and make your building experience stress-free and enjoyable. This call is free and without obligation. It's our way of sharing our 16+ years of experience and knowledge to help you get the exact custom home you want.
Step 2
Site And Outcome Assessment
With an understanding of your vision, we will assess your land to determine feasibility. This is where our local knowledge is so valuable. We'll help you consider local flood patterns, site contours, and surrounding land features to optimise your home's orientation on your land. If you don't have land yet we can help you source the perfect block. We will give you an estimate and timeline to build your home. If you're ready to build, we will secure your building schedule with a preliminary agreement. Once again, you are under no obligation or pressure.
Step 3
Concept Design
This is where your ideas start to take shape on paper. Our in-house building designer (Jess) will create a floorplan with dimensions and details so you can see how your home will flow. She will create a façade and external features so you can start to see what your home will look like. And she will help you further refine your plans to ensure you get the exact home you've been
Step 4
Project Proposal
Now it's time to really imagine yourself living in your new home. We will 'walk through' every room and help you position your power points, internet points, light switches, fans, and air-conditioning. We will help you choose your selections – from tiles to taps. And don't worry we will guide you through every step, so you never feel rushed or overwhelmed. With these details in place we will create a comprehensive project proposal so you can see exactly what you'll get and precisely what it will cost.
Step 5
Pre-Construction Planning
This is the stage many builders skimp on. And why they struggle to meet budgets and deadlines. We are fastidious about the details during this planning stage. We confirm every detail on your floorplan (including your selections), and arrange all engineering, and all necessary construction approvals. Your signed contract confirms every last detail so you can be confident your precise dream is about to come to life.
Step 6
Our Staged Construction Process
Construction is divided into 6 stages that (depending on the size and complexity of your home) take around 1 month each. Our proven planning process means all supplies are ready and tradespeople are scheduled in perfect sequence to complete your home on time and on budget. Building begins with site preparation and slab construction. Then we build your frame, add external cladding, and give your home it's roof. We add electrical and plumbing, line the inside (walls and ceiling), and do all fit-outs (benches, basins, cupboards etc.). We finish with floor coverings and paint. And give everything a thorough clean. All work is carried out by experience tradespeople (most of whom are employed on staff) and supervised using rigorous quality control processes. With access to our online building portal you can follow the daily progress and be part of the journey as your home comes to life.
Step 7
Handover
Before we give you the keys, we have your home independently inspected to ensure every last detail is perfect. We will also walk you through every aspect of your home to ensure you are delighted with every last detail. If anything needs adjusting, we will see to it straight away. We'll enjoy a celebratory champagne with you to mark this momentous occasion before leaving you to enjoy your new home. After 90 days we will return to fine-tune anything you've noticed as you've lived in your home. And we will continue to offer ongoing support to ensure you enjoy decades of enjoying in your home.
